History

RBT is also no longer what it once was.

Much has changed since the company was founded by Riedi, Berni and Theus in 1949. Sleeve-holders and journals on blueprint paper have long since given way to complex rules and regulations and modern information technology. The former partnership became a stock corporation in the nineties, and in January 2009 the long-standing managing director Enrico Joos and his partners Fritz Nyffenegger and Michael Conrad bought all the shares in the company.

Not least because of this, the company values its tradition:

The roots with the high valley and its local conditions.

As residents of Engadin, we speak the language of our customers, we know their concerns and we share the same culture.

The three letters in the company logo.

Since becoming a stock corporation, however, the three capital letters have taken on a new meaning. R, B and T are now no longer simply the first letters of the founders' names: they also stand for Revision, Buchhaltung and Treuhand, the German terms for auditing, accounting and fiduciary. And that's quite apart from the usual, wide-ranging repertoire.
